About Note To Self
Note to self came about for two reasons.
Reason The First; I kept tweeting using the hashtag #notetoself but never got back to them in time. As far as I'm aware the search feature on Twitter only goes back 7 days and while I could page through my own tweets for much further than 7 days finding the occasional tweet could be time consuming. This was annoying and I have the skillset to fix this problem. Sure, I could have just made a note on paper but Twitter has integrated itself into all the devices I carry and it's too easy to fire off a tweet thinking I'll get to it later.

How's it work?
This site is designed to do one thing and do it simply. Messages on Twitter with the following hastags are saved so that you can access them at your convenience and tick them off as having been completed. That's pretty much it.

How long are Tweets kept?
By default tweets are kept for 7 days. To the best of my knowledge this is how far back a non-logged in user can search for anything on Twitter.
If you would like your Tweets to be kept longer, just log in using the blue "Sign in with Twitter" button and they will be saved permanently. Once signed in messages can be ticked off to remove them from your list.
Anything else planned for the site?
Messages that are ticked off are still stored, they're just hidden from view. Later, I have plans to add a view on the tweets that allows a logged in user to view the completed tweets and take further actions there.
I also have plans to add tabs that group the tweets into the hashtags used to find them for this site.
